Update from Basil

Dear Sarah and Paul, Just a line to let you know how Basil and I are getting on . He is now registered with my vet and has some treatment for his eyes. He has settled down well after peeing on my log basket to mark his territory. But there has been no repeat performance. He now trusts me but any sudden movement will make him cower. On the plus side he will now lead when we walk the fields and off the lead in the dog walk at welland park comes to my whistle. He answers to some commands, but will only sit if there is a treat to be had. { he is not daft ] .  He is a good boy and only needs time and love, we are going to make a great team.  Richard.
